Bike along the Adriatic coast, you will spend a wonderful day among maritime cities, surrounded by suggestive landscapes, in a land where the blue of the sea is mixed with the green and silver of the centuries old olive trees, symbol of the Mediterranean: cradle of many civilizations.
The tour leads to the characteristic small harbour of Savelletri, famous for its sea urchins, where it is possible to have a break with a delicious ice cream, before reaching a typical Apulian masseria and enjoy a lunch with typical and traditional local products.
The tour is mainly available in Italian or English. With adequate notice and, on request, it is possible to take tours in other languages and at extra cost.
Duration: about 5/6 hours, from 10:00 am to 3:00/4:00 pm.
The tour starts with the visit of Monopoli. A city overlooking the Adriatic sea, surrounded by ancient walls of Messapian origins, dating back to V century B.C., Monopoli is one of the oldest harbour of the Adriatic, characterized by an historic centre, full of restaurants, pubs and typical small shops.
In addition to the historic centre, it will be also possible to visit the majestic and elegant Cathedral, dedicated to the Madonna della Madia.
After Monopoli, everyone climbs onto the Taste&Go’s e-bikes, for an exciting ride along the wonderful Adriatic coast, lining the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic sea and cycling along country roads, surrounded by characteristic dry-stone walls and splendid centuries-old olive trees.
Then, you will reach the small and typical maritime village of Savelletri, a place where celebrities love to stay and where they choose to celebrate their weddings and for special occasions.
Savelletri will be also the ideal place for an ice cream break.
The lunch will take place at a typical fortified Apulian Masseria, where you will taste starters,, main course, second course and dessert, Everything accompanied by excellent local wine.
After lunch, the last km on bike to go back to Monopoli for the end of the tour.
