UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, Alberobello is the capital of Trulli, symbol par excellence of Puglia. The visit to its two main districts, including more than 1.000 trulli, is an incredible show.
Here, it will be possible to visit Rione Monti and Aia Piccola, the trullo church dedicated to St. Anthony and the “Belvedere” panoramic terrace.
Once you finish visiting Alberobello, climb onto our e-bike’s saddle and discover the incredible nature of the Itria Valley, cycling surrounded by oaks, olive trees and dry-stone walls. Through hamlets and country roads, to admire the vineyards and rocky churches, characterized by the typical red soil of Puglia, until reaching the fascinating village of Locorotondo.
Locorotondo is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and its name derives from the characteristic round shape of the old town. Here, you will visit the old town with its white houses, including the unusual “Cummerse” pitched roof houses.
Climb onto the e-bike’s saddle again and cycle along the suggestive country roads and natural cycle paths until reaching a typical Masseria for the lunch. Here, you can appreciate the authentic Apulian dishes and taste the typical products, such as focaccia and homemade bread, mozzarella and other cheeses, cold cuts, seasonal vegetables. Everything with the inevitable extra virgin olive oil and a good primitive wine.
At the end of the lunch, we continue biking for a few kilometers to go back to Alberobello and end the tour.
