    DAY 1

    Arrival in Matera: visit to the beautiful Lucanian city

    Arrival in Matera and after the check-in at the hotel, all the family around the alley of this city, unique in the world for the presence of the “Stones” defined by the UNESCO Archaeological and Natural Park of the Rupestrian Civilization and World Heritage Site.
    To the delight of the littles ones, there is a nice ape calessino tour, a typical means of transport in Italy, through the characteristic alleys of one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the world.

    DAY 2

    Discovering the city of Stones

    After breakfast at the hotel, a wonderful sightseeing bus tour in the heart of the city surrounded by suggestive views, accompanied by the tales of the tour guide about the history of stones and was the life inside them. To make the visit even more exciting, you can continue the walk at your own pace, exploring the alleys and enjoying the suggestive views offered by Matera.
    Then, an experienced tour guide will lead the whole family to the walking guided tour in the Stones, with entrance to a “Grotto House” a typical cave dwelling with furniture and tools of the time.
    At the end of the tour, tasting of typical products of Basilicata.
    In the late afternoon, you can decide to walk in the Park of the Rupestrian churches of Matera, one of the most beautiful rupestrian panorama in Italy that testifies the ancient and harmonious connection between nature and man, an unforgettable experience to spend together.

    A stroll through the little shops and departure

    Breakfast at the hotel and check – out. Before leaving, we suggest you one last stroll through the alleys of the town, where you can spend a few hours in some little shops to buy some souvenir and typical products of the place.
