On this holiday you will have the chance to stay at a typical Masseria of the Itria Valley, an old construction dating back to the 16th century and the emblem of the rural civilization, closely connected to the history of the Apulian territory.

  • 2° day: Alberobello and Locorotondo guided tour, lunch at masseria, visit to the cheese local factory;
  • 3° day: guided tour of the botanical garden, e-bike guided tour, lunch at Masseria;
  • 4° day: guided visit to the Casa delle Farfalle (Butterfly house), Monopoli guided tour and visit to the olive oil mill, including the extra-virgin olive oil;
  • 5° day: entrance ticket to the Safari Zoo;
  • 6° day: experience at an educational farm, guided tour of the Castellana Caves;
  • 7° day: boat trip.

    DAY 1

    Arrival at the masseria, you can walk around or relax at the masseria

    Once you arrive in Puglia, check-in at a typical masseria of the Itria Valley, in the area among Alberobello, Locorotondo and Martina Franca.
    Then, it follows a walk in the area or spend some time in the relaxing swimming pool of the masseria.

    DAY 2

    Itria Valley, between culture and wine & food.

    After breakfast, Alberobello guided tour, famous all over the world for its trulli, symbol for excellence of Puglia. Then, it follows the Locorotondo guided tour, known as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, to visit its characteristic old town. After the visit of Locorotondo, you will enjoy a lunch based on typical local products with 0 km ingredients at a traditional masseria.

    In the afternoon, visit to a local cheese factory to see the mozzarella-cheese production and taste several kinds of Apulian cheeses.

    DAY 3

    On foot or on bike, immersed into the nature

    The day starts with the guided tour of a botanical garden, located in the heart of the Itria Valley that extends for 10 hectares and offers a landscape of rare beauty.
    Here it will be possible to admire several types of fruit trees that constitute an historic botanical path of traditional and rare plants from all over the world; while the little ones, can enjoy one of the many organized educational laboratories.

    After the visit to the botanical garden, let’s jump onto the e-bike’s saddle to ride along the ancient path of the Aqueduct Cycle Route until you reach a typical masseria of the area, where you will stop for the lunch.

    At the end, you will reach by bike the place of departure.

    DAY 4

    La Casa delle Farfalle and Monopoli, among the colours of Puglia

    A day full of exciting experiences, above all for the little ones, with the visit to the “Casa delle Farfalle” (Butterfly House), the only one in Italy where are exclusively risen rare species of butterflies and where it is possible to admire their life cycle.
    Then, you will reach Monopoli, a wonderful city overlooking the Adriatic Sea that still preserves those distinctive traits that made it one of the most important maritime cities in Puglia. Do not miss its old town dating back to the High Middle Age and its majestic Cathedral.

    In the afternoon, visit to an old agricultural farm with its underground olive oil mill to discover the secrets of the ancient art of the olive oil making process. Here you will taste the typical Apulian products, the extra virgin olive oil and you will learn how to know its authenticity and goodness.

    Zoo Safari

    A day that everyone, especially the kids, will appreciate a lot. You will visit the Zoo Safari located in Fasano, where you and your family may admire alligators, snakes, elephants, tigers, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, dolphins and many other species of animals, with more than 1,500, which inhabit this huge natural park, the biggest in Italy and Europe.
    Then, enjoy the amusement park of Fasanolandia, inside the zoo with a lot of games and attractions suitable for all ages.

    DAY 6

    Learn having fun: visit to the Castellana caves and educational farm activities

    After breakfast, you will reach an educational farm where your kids will test their skills in one of the many interesting laboratories for their fun and learning.
    In the afternoon, all in the heart of the earth to visit the wonderful caves of Castellana, where you can admire one of the most important Speleological complexes in the whole Europe. White stalactites and stalagmites, small underground lakes and shiny stone pinnacles are a show not to be missed.

    Puglia seen from the sea. On boat in Polignano

    A day dedicated to the clear blue sea of Polignano, a chance to have fun together and relax, thanks to a boat trip to discover the coast, among wonderful sea caves, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and crystal-clear of the Adriatic Sea. The ideal condition to jump into the sea or relax on board, cradled by the sea waves.
    The day will continue with the lunch and free afternoon.
