The tour will lead the work team into the extraordinary Itria Valley, cycling among dry-stone walls, trulli, olive trees and vineyards. The ride will allow the group to share pleasant moments immersed in the nature, in a context that favours the synergy and the cohesion among the participants.
To make even more efficient the incentive proposal, there’s also the possibility to add a wine and food experience to discover the local traditions, choosing among:
After the meeting in Locorotondo, the tour starts with a short walking guided tour of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Locorotondo, indeed, is included in the “trulli-sea-cave” district and it is famous for its terraces overlooking the Itria Valley and for its typical pitched roof white houses, called the “Cummerse”.
The e-bike tour is about 4 and 8 km long (depending on whether you choose the visit to the winery or the light lunch at masseria). In both cases, the cycle ride is very suggestive and it allows riding in the Itria Valley’s nature, in a context of peace and relaxation, among magnificent hamlets and country roads and surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and dry-stone walls, in an extraordinary natural scenery.
It is possible to include in the tour one of these experiences:
• Guided tour of the winery and its vineyards, where it will be possible, under the guidance of an expert, to taste excellent local wines accompanied by typical products.
• A visit to a traditional Apulian Masseria, located in the Itria Valley’s countryside, and light lunch with typical Apulian products, such as focaccia, homemade bread, cold cuts, aged and unaged cheeses and seasonal vegetables. All the food is enriched with the extra virgin olive oil and the primitive wine.
