Food and trulli. These are the two words that first come to mind when you think about Puglia. For sure, it would certainly be too simple to describe in this way a region that has so much to tell and to transmit, but for sure there’s no holiday in Puglia without the good food and the most important symbols of Puglia: the trulli.

We, at Taste&Go, wanted to combine these two concepts and we created an unmissable experience: a typical Apulian cooking class inside a trullo.

Imagine how it could be to visit the valley of the trulli, stroll through the streets of the historic center dotted with these ancient and typical buildings with a cone-shaped roof and, then, stop at one of these in order to take part in an exciting cooking class under the guidance of a chef professional, expert in regional cuisine.

Cooking class inside a trullo: two options and lots of fun.

Thanks to this hands-on cooking class, you will learn how to prepare some of the most popular traditional recipes, using the local products and tasting all the dishes prepared at the end of the class.

Cooking class inside a trullo: two free-choice possibilities.

There are two ways to live the cooking class experience inside a trullo.
The first Taste&Go option includes a “half-day”experience (about 4 hours) with lunch under the arbour.

There is also the “full-day” experience (about 8 hours) that includes the local market tour, guided by the chef, to buy the products that you need during the lesson. Then, cooking class inside a typical trullo and, finally, lunch under the arbour.

Furthermore, if you book the cooking class in June, it will be possible to take part in the cherry harvesting to prepare jams and cakes.

What you learn during the cooking class.

The cooking class by Taste&Go is very funny. Surrounded by a sharing atmosphere and a beautiful location, under the guidance of a local expert chef, you can learn to be familiar with the following topics:

  • Basis of the Apulian cuisine
